Congratulations to Snøhetta with winning the Opera House of the Future competition that we have worked on with them since 2017. Snøhetta was selected to design the new home of Neue Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf by a 25-member jury. The full concept and design of the new building was made public on November 18th, during the Opera House of the Future Forum in Düsseldorf. In addition to the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, the new cultural building will also house the Music Library of the City of Düsseldorf and the Clara Schumann Music School.
